July 2015 Moodlerooms 2.8 Updates!

On July 9, 2015, Moodlerooms will enhance our LMS platform with new features.

We expect the upgrade to include the following:

  • Improved user experience for building quizzes.
  • Email replies to messages from forums will be permitted.
  • Improvements in the gradebook will provide instructors more control over aggregation.
  • The user [student] report offers more transparency regarding the gradebook structure.
  • Mahara upgrade provides better integration with common social media outlets.

Moodle has published a playlist of short videos highlighting many of the features of this upgrade.

Documentation on the complete set of features offered in Moodle 2.8 is also available.

Immaculata implements a customized set of Moodle tools, features, and functions available in the 2.8 release. After the release has been complete, we will keep you informed of all new features and resources available in our campus implementation.
